General School Information : Wat Pangiw School

Watpangiw (Wat Ban Ngiu) is school that located in Moo 2, Tambon Bangiw, Amphur Samkhok, Pathum Thani province. Based on school web (watpangiwschool.ac.th) this school was estabilished on the 25^th march, 1953. The school was built on the 5 acres of Wat Nang Yard land. The first administrator was Mr. Teab Chuenwittaya. During the 18th May, 1953, the school had 26 student (25 boys and 1 girl) and only had 5 grade.

In 1976, the goverment demolished Suan Mamuang School and transferred the student to Watpangiw School. And nowadays, the school teaches student from kindergarten (Anuban) to Primary grade 6 (Prathomsuksa 6).

Student academic support system in watpangiw school have class room for each class. Watpangiw had 2 different program, english program and standard program. English program started from P.1/1 until P.6/1 and had different building with standar program. In the EP building, there's a chinesse class, because watpangiw has cooperation program with chengdu polytechics. So, they have chinesse club for student. Every class have many facilities like air conditioner (AC), fan and so on. Beside the class, they also have dome to held flag ceremony ot outdoor activity, field for sport activity and playground for anuban. Watpangiw also have big canteen,because the student have free lunch there everyday.

Watpangiw has a lot of foreigner teacher to support their english program. They are come from philippines, germany, UK and China. In english program, foreigner tecaher teach mathematics, natural science and english. but in standar program, only teach english. For one subject, teacher had one hour to teach and doing activity in class. 

Every morning in school days, watpangiw held flag ceremony. And exercise in wednesday, because wednesday is sport day in watpangiw. So, all of student and also the teacher using sport apparel.

For learning resource,especially my major. The goverment of pathum thani province or VRU as a coorporation University give the teacher books. It a little bit different with student book, because the teacher book contain step to teach and answer for the worksheet in the student book. Beside that, teacher also make extra worksheet for student. So, it can be use to evaluate student. But the evaluation time held twice in each semester, midterm and final examination.

Curriculum that used in watpangiw is based on basic education core curriculum. Maybe it same with another school in thailand, especially pathum thani province. Using tat curriculum, teacher should make lesson plan before teach in class. It contain main topic, specific topics and activity during class.
