Last day, VRU held farewell party to close this program. One of the participat from philippines, Reggy, give speach to say thanks and sorry for everything we have done there. VRU also give me a sertificate as a participant. I'm so happy. Beside that, VRU provide us luch. They give me Thailand traditional food, pad thai. It's sooo delicious and i like it. Maybe because pad thai not contain corriander leave so I can eat that. For sure, i will miss Thailand. Wat pangiw. and VRU. They give me different story. Maybe not all of the story was fun but I can learn from everything that I do in there. I really proud to be part of these program. I was said that it not only provide us to learn about teach, but also learn abou life. How we can life in different country and different religion. Because it really my first time of being minority. So I can learn to understand the minority in indonesia. I hope more of country in ASEAN can join these program. So, we can travel around the A

it's time, when my supervisor from VRU come to see my teaching practice. I prepared everything for about 3 days, and feel nervous when the day is come. Dr. Pimlak come earliear when i lunch. I teach p.1/1 for evaluation time. My lovely children, because there are kaimuk, kanoon, preaw and frshy. They're so cute and adorable. I teach about volume measurement. And try to use instructional media like bootles and flash card. Well, everything goes well and i enjoyed my evaluation time. I know my weaknees and strong in teaching. Both Dr. Pimlak or Teacher mel give me much advice how to teaching well. Thanks for everything SEA-Teacher.

Practice make perfect Before teaching practice, I should make a lesson plan for every topics that i will teach. Teacher mel give her lesson plan to me for the example. So, i can see format of lesson plan. When teaching, the activity divide by 5 specific actvity. Warm up, presentation, practice, production and wrap up. I usually use song "Clap your hands" to warming up the student in grade 1 until 3 and doing brain gym for grade 4 until 6. Purpose of warming up is  to make childern focus and relax before receive the lesson. I know, mathematics is hard to understand, so i bring the material into something fun, real and relevant with their life. And make the enjoy before learn. But it not too long, just about 5 minutes. Second, presentation. I shoul give some materials to student so they can discuss about that. I have 10 minutes to give main purpose of the lesson. And i really like when student give all their attention to me. The i will give them some question for practi

"In learning you will teach, and in teaching you will learn. " - Paul Collins  I learn so much things from these part. I help teacher  mel to manage class and help her to find some ice breaking for student. They really love to dance and sing. So atractive and warm. Even sometime, they're so noisy and busy with their own activity. But I love them. The feeling when student call me, "teacher mia" is indescribeable. even while i'm in teacing assistant they just ask simple question aboute correct or no. But these part really help me to be close and know my student. What they love, what they want and what their favorite method of learning. Teacher mel usually share about her excess and lack of teaching. She said that different grade also had different character. So, as a teacher we should know what the most effective learning methods in different class.

After VRU send us to watpangiw school, we stay at school dormitory with 5 chinesse student who teach in wat pangiw. I really enjoy the athmosphere of International dorm life. There are 7 indonesian, 3 filipinos and 5 chinesse student living in same door.   My room mate is Fanni, Ari and Cath. Cath is the one from philippines, she's so humble an funny. Cath's friends, jean and al usually come to my room and share everything. Food, drink and story in our country. Al asked about why most of indonesian using veil and cant eat pork. And we so happy to share about that.    So, sea teacher not only give me experience in teaching activity, but also how to survive of living with people from different country, different religion and different culture. We learn about each other to grow our tolerance. I'm really grateful of beinng part of this program.

A good teacher can change everything.' - unknown During this program, wat pangiw give me a teacher mentor from philippines, the student usually call her teacher mel. So, she accompany me and introduce me to all EP (English Program) class. She gave me class P.1/1, P.2/1 and P.5/1 to teach. And she also give me advice about making lesson plan. We should making lesson plan before teach in the class. It contain topics and details activity that gonna do in class. On the first week, all i do just observe the class and sometimes help her to teach. In the class, she usually use cooperative learning methods. So the student can explore the subject, and teacher just give some main point of subject. Or the class usually discuss about the topics, and she will call student by number to repeat the explanation. The learning material that she usually use are book from school and student worksheet. She doesnt use multimedia or slide presentat

Watpangiw (Wat Ban Ngiu) is school that located in Moo 2, Tambon Bangiw, Amphur Samkhok, Pathum Thani province. Based on school web (watpangiwschool.ac.th) this school was estabilished on the 25 th march, 1953. The school was built on the 5 acres of Wat Nang Yard land. The first administrator was Mr. Teab Chuenwittaya. During the 18th May, 1953, the school had 26 student (25 boys and 1 girl) and only had 5 grade. In 1976, the goverment demolished Suan Mamuang School and transferred the student to Watpangiw School. And nowadays, the school teaches student from kindergarten (Anuban) to Primary grade 6 (Prathomsuksa 6). Student academic support system in watpangiw school have class room for each class. Watpangiw had 2 different program, english program and standard program. English program started from P.1/1 until P.6/1 and had different building with standar program. "Up in the clouds on my way to unknown things" - unknown Finally, I have choosen as participant of SEA-Teacher project Batch 7. I really grateful because it like my dream comes true. Going abroad, far from home but learn something new. All of things that I cant found in Indonesia before.  So, SEA-Teacher Project or the "Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia" is project from SEAMEO that provide the student tecaher to have experience teache in school in others country. And lucky me, I'm going to Thailand.  My university sent 18 student teacher to go Thailand and Philippines. I'm going to thailand with my friend, Fannisa from pre-school program.
